HCSS unveils HCSS Safety

HCSS, a leader in construction software solutions, has introduced HCSS Safety, a comprehensive safety management tool for the heavy civil industry. Designed to enhance safety documentation, reporting, and real-time data analysis, HCSS Safety enables quick response to safety issues, trend identification, and targeted training delivery.

HCSS Safety tracks crew skills, certifications, and training completions, allowing field users to verify and update certifications instantly using QR codes on hard hats or badges. The software also schedules safety meetings tailored to crew needs and ensures timely equipment inspections via QR codes, facilitating accurate reporting and timely corrective actions.

The software's digital record-keeping eliminates paper processes and documentation gaps, making it easy to collect and search data on meeting attendance, inspections, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), field observations, near misses, and incidents. Users can generate PDF reports for data analysis and gap identification.

HCSS Safety includes over 1,000 templates for toolbox talks, safety inspections, JHAs, and more, along with customizable safety forms and certification tracking. It provides a library of 2,000+ industry-specific forms and documents from OSHA, MSHA, and state DOTs, accessible via tablet.

In 2023, HCSS Safety documented 1.7 million safety meetings and completed 1.2 million inspections. By digitizing processes and reducing documentation gaps, HCSS Safety offers a premier end-to-end safety management solution for the heavy civil construction sector
