Man gets stuck between transport truck cab, says report
One man suffered life threatening injuries following an incident in Ottawa on Tuesday, according to a report.
The incident happened on Tuesday. Emergency services responded to the 100 block of Colonnade Road, east of Merivale Road at approximately 5:20 p.m., CTV News reported, citing Ottawa paramedics.
The man was trapped between the “frame and the cab” of the truck, said Ottawa Paramedic Services spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps, according to the report.
The worker was taken to hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Ottawa Police Service also responded to the incident following a report of an injured man at a workplace, according to CTV News.
Police said it is assisting the Ontario Ministry of Labour in investigating the incident.
