Ontario Labour Ministry inspectors will take a "zero tolerance" approach as they embark on an inspection blitz covering forklift and other lifting devices hazards in various industries, Minister Peter Fonseca said.
Fonseca was in Barrie, Ont. recently visiting the Industrial Safety Trainers' facility. In a press conference, he announced the ministry will be checking for forklift hazards this month, as part of the government's on-going Safety-At-Work Ontario strategy.
