Registration open for ASSP's Safety 2025

Safety professionals across industries are gearing up for a premier learning and networking opportunity as the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) opens registration for Safety 2025, its annual Professional Development Conference and Exposition. The event runs from Tuesday, July 22, through Thursday, July 24, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Attendees can expect a robust agenda featuring more than 200 continuing education sessions, providing practical strategies and insights designed to be immediately applicable in the workplace. The event promises to be a cornerstone for advancing safety careers and enhancing organizational safety practices.

“Our conference and expo is a dynamic learning and networking experience that supports our mission to help protect workers in every industry worldwide,” says Pam Walaski, CSP, FASSP, and ASSP president. “It’s a place to find real solutions to safety challenges, especially today when environments can quickly change. After last year’s record-breaking event that sold out, we’re excited about the experience planned for attendees this time around.”

Showcase of innovation and networking

A major highlight of the event is the exposition, where more than 600 exhibitors will showcase cutting-edge safety products and solutions. The interactive Career Advancement Center, accessible to all attendees, adds value by providing professional development resources beyond traditional networking.

“Our expo is widely known for being so illuminating and engaging that safety and health professionals find it just as educational as the sessions,” Walaski notes. “Many vendors also bring their product developers and present meaningful learning opportunities.”

With continuing education in focus, participants can earn 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), providing career advancement opportunities for safety professionals at all levels.

“If your job involves the safety and health of your organization, Safety 2025 is the place to gain critical insights and knowledge to advance your work environment,” says Alex Ruiz, CSP, CIH, CHMM, CHST, chair of ASSP’s Professional Development Conference Planning Committee. “It’s a comprehensive experience that provides significant value for occupational safety and health professionals at every level of experience.”

Return to Orlando

Orlando, home to the nation’s second-largest convention center, serves as an ideal backdrop for the conference. Renowned for its sunny weather, iconic theme parks, and attractions like The Orlando Eye—a towering 400-foot observation wheel—the city offers plenty for attendees to explore outside of conference hours.

This marks ASSP’s return to Orlando after more than a decade, with its last conference there held in 2014.
