Worker fell from top of a building under construction
A teenage worker suffered serious injuries after falling at a construction site in Ontario.
The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The worker fell from the top of a building under construction southwest of London, reported CTV News, citing initial reports. The building is located on Aberdeen Line, just west of Iona Road, in the municipality of Dutton-Dunwich.
The 19-year-old male worker sustained serious injuries, Elgin OPP noted, according to the CTV News report.
He was taken to the trauma centre at London Health Sciences Centre by air ambulance, according to the report.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour has been notified of the development. It is investigating the incident.
