Industrial Safety Trainers partners with Mentor Safety

SafetyCo Partners, a relatively new player in the occupational health and safety industry, has announced a strategic investment and alliance with Mentor Safety Consulting, Inc. through its affiliate, Industrial Safety Trainers (IST). This move is part of SafetyCo's plan to modernize the safety services sector and enhances its offerings in the industrial, infrastructure, construction, and education sectors.

Mentor Safety, a company based in London, Ontario, will integrate its operations with IST, benefitting from increased resources, back-end support, and an extended geographic reach. This partnership marks a significant step forward in consolidating and streamlining the fragmented safety consulting industry.

Under the terms of the investment, Mentor Safety will maintain ownership of its training program content, while IST will provide essential support in program management and facilitation. Additionally, IST will offer Mentor Safety an enhanced back-end support system encompassing technology, finance, and marketing, further fortifying their position in the industry.

Mentor Safety, founded in 2008, boasts a team of seasoned safety trainers and consultants. The company provides safety consulting and training services to businesses of all sizes, with a clientele that includes Canada Post, GM, Purolator, and Magna. Offering services both in-person at their London training facility and through remote and virtual training, Mentor Safety's senior consultants bring more than two decades of experience in the health and safety industry from large organizations.
