Software designed to manage high volume of work orders
HCSS has unveiled new capabilities for its HeavyJob software, tailored to utility contractors managing high volumes of work orders under blanket contracts or master service agreements (MSAs). Announced at DISTRIBUTECH 2025, the update transforms HeavyJob into a comprehensive platform for capturing, tracking, and billing unit-priced work with improved speed and accuracy.
The upgrade includes bulk work order import, streamlined pay item tracking, customizable billing exports, and enhanced crew productivity monitoring. These features aim to eliminate revenue leakage and inefficiencies associated with paper-based or spreadsheet workflows, helping contractors accurately log, manage, and invoice completed work.
