Hellberg Safety introduces two new made-in-Canada products designed to help protect outdoor workers from the harsh effects of sun exposure. Hellberg’s new neck shades are designed to easily attach to any hardhat in seconds, the company says. They provide shade for the side of the worker’s head as well as the neck and shoulders. The basic model’s material is made of lightweight polyester that allows air to easily pass through, ensuring comfort even during hot days. The company also introduces neck shades made from arc flash/fire resistant fabric, as well as waterproof nylon. The neck shade comes in two hi-viz colours – fluorescent orange and fluorescent yellow-green. You can also have your company’s logo printed on the product. Hellberg’s new sun visor provides protection for the face, with tinted face to reduce glare and block harmful UV rays. The sun visor can also be attached to virtually any hardhat and can be flipped up and down as needed, the company says.
