Dynamic Safety International introduces the new Zero Metal boot, a line of safety footwear that does not have metal inside. The Zero Metal series meets CSA Green Patch standards, including dielectric, and is lightweight for increased comfort, the company says. The Zero Metal boots are warmer on the workers’ feet than normal steel-toe shoes, which tend to get cold in the winter due to conductivity, Dynamic Safety says. The Zero Metal also reduces the risk of electrocution or electrical shock to the worker. It’s non-magnetic, static-free and will not set off alarms if there are metal detectors in the work area, the company says. Zero Metal comes in eight models, from a shoe style to an 8-inch boot style. All models are made of full grain leather with Thinsulate insulation and aggressive rubber soles. www.dsisafety.com
