3M’s new FF-400 full facepiece respirator has a unique design that provides lightweight, yet heavy-duty protection, and allows for quick disassembly for easier cleaning, the company said. The FF-400’s head harness features a six-strap configuration for a more secure fit and a durable silicon material, compatible with any hardhat. Designed for comfort, the FF-400’s Cool Flow exhalation valve design helps reduce hear and moisture build-up on the facepiece, and provides easier breathing for the wearer. The “confort cradle” feature positions the respirator more comfortably on the head and helps reduce pressure points, the company said. The Scotchgard-protected lens on the FF-400 respirator sits on an extremely durable frame and offers a wide field of view with excellent peripheral vision, the company said.
