Guardian Equipment’s G1724 WideArea eye/face wash is ideal for wall mounting and features four GS-Plus spray-type outlet heads that deliver a flood of water over a wide area of coverage for complete eye and face rinsing, the company says. Each spray head has a flip-top dust cover, internal flow control and filter to remove impurities from the water flow. The G1724 eye/face wash also features half-inch IPS chrome-plated brass stay-open ball valve and Teflon seals. The stainless steel bowl is 11.5 inches in diameter. Available options include: orange, green and yellow ABS plastic bowl; stainless steel dust cover for each spray head; auxiliary hand-held drench hose for rinsing eye, face or body; self-closing ball valve (note: eye/face washes with self-closing valves don’t comply with ANSI Z358.1 – 2004), chrome-plated brass tailpiece and trap with 1.5 inches IPS waste connection; 1.5 inches OD chrome-plated brass tailpiece; G3600 thermostatic mixing valve that precisely blends hot and cold water to deliver warm (tepid) water as provided by ANSI Z358.1 – 2004, the company says.
