Aearo Technologies’ new CustomE-A-R will custom-fit earplugs
for each individual employee in 15 minutes, according to the company. Certified
CustomE-A-R technicians will mold, validate and calibrate the earplugs on site,
using computerized fit validation and noise level calibration, the company
says. The earplugs are made of soft, hypoallergenic polymer for extended
comfort with a variety of hear-through control filters. CustomE-A-R comes in
two package choices: Mini Pack, which includes enough supplies and CustomE-A-R
products to fit 8 individuals, and Group Pack, which contains supplies and CustomE-A-R
