The LFG-20 Plus from CEA Instruments is a new portable, landfill site data logging gas monitor with 0-1 VDC output for simultaneously measuring and recording of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), and oxygen (O2). These ranges are automatically selected according to the gas concentration in the sample, and measurements are digitally displayed for each gas. Methane and carbon dioxide in the 0 to100 per cent volume are analyzed in dual ranges with infrared technology, along with an oxygen electrochemical sensor for zero to 25 per cent volume for excellent accuracy and stability, the company says. The LFG-20 PLUS units are compact, lightweight, and are very easy to operate and maintain. The unit permits simple and precise measurements in a sample drawn by an internal pump at 200 ml per minute.
