Honeywell has launched a web-based application allowing the order of fully customized hard hats. Customers and distributors can select from the full range of Fibre-Metal and North brand safety caps. The app guides them through four steps during which they can create their “signature look,” says the manufacturer. A dedicated customer service team supports the app by answering questions and fulfilling orders. The app features a unique, 360-degree rotating product view and side-by-side comparisons of up to three custom hats to help safety managers meet every worker’s need. Hard hat offerings span the full range of ANSI and CSA ratings for impact and electrical protection, with a bump cap also available. Build Your Own Hat offers a wide selection of suspension options, with hats that feature four-point, six-point and the industry’s only eight-point suspension, Fibre-Metal SuperEight. Nineteen shell colors are available to suit a wide variety of corporate identities and personal preferences. Build Your Own Hat users can upload their own custom graphics and logos for one-of-a-kind designs or choose from stock safety slogans and graphics.
