Midas Safety unveils glass and metal-free glove

Midas Safety has launched the PU GMF Glove FA6 - a new glass and metal-free glove that the company says combines ultra-high cut resistance with exceptional comfort to safeguard its wearers in the most demanding industrial environments.

The glove achieves a cut resistance level of EN ISO level F and an A6, in accordance with the ASTM F2992 standard. In doing so, it becomes the premium cut-resistant option within the Midas Safety GMF range and exceeds the capabilities of the existing DA4 cut glove.

The PU GMF Glove FA6 is made with a unique blend of enhanced HPPE, Nylon, and Spandex, eliminating the need for steel or glass to achieve high cut protection.

The PU GMF Glove FA6 is suitable for a broad range of applications, including glass and metal sheet handling, automotive repairs and maintenance, construction and plumbing. Additionally, it provides enhanced safety protection for applications such as battery cell manufacturing, with the lack of metal fibres eliminating the risk of electrical conductivity.
