Gas Measurement Instruments (GMI) has launched the new PS1 single gas monitor. The PS1 is a rugged, lightweight monitor for the detection of hydrogen sulphide, oxygen, carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide. Audible, visual and vibrating alarms alert the user, should gas be present. The stainless steel alligator clip attaches easily onto a collar or vest, putting the instrument near the breathing zone, for maximum protection and safety. The Auto Bump Test and Calibration Station is designed to give a fast visual indication that the instruments are calibrated correctly, dramatically improving compliance, record keeping, efficiency and accuracy. The station requires no testing and minimal effort by users — simply place the PS1 into the cradle and close the door, says GMI.
