Westex by Milliken’s new Westex AllOut technology is high-quality flame resistant (FR) fabric designed for inclement weather. Westex AllOut provides wind and water resistance and delivers breathable, yet protective products against the elements and potential hazards. The application is lightweight and consistent with all flame-resistant certifications and properties. While this technology is optimized for markets that cater to outdoor workers, it can be applied to any Westex by Milliken fabric, serving a multitude of industrial workwear needs. This fabric makes a great outer shell when combined with insulation in cold weather garments or on its own. This combination protects from harsh wind, wetness and cold — without weighing the user down, says the manufacturer. Westex AllOut is NFPA 2112-certified and provides PPE category 2 arc flash multi-hazard protection.
