Keen Utility has introduced the Tacoma Series, a collection of boots that feature rugged details and unique performance enhancements. Built for the toughest of working environments, the non-metallic collection blends durable construction and innovative materials with comfort, quality and fit. The Tacoma Series features the Tacoma XT CSA, a heavy-duty, non-metallic safety boot featuring asymmetrical composite toes, metal-free eyelets and an undetectable and lightweight puncture-resistant midsole plate. The superior leather resists the damaging effects of oleic acid, urea, sodium chloride and ammonium hydroxide in order to extend boot life. The boot is made from 100 per cent para-aramid fibre with a high melting point of 450 C. Stronger than stele, para-aramid is a high tenacity, high modulus fibre. The boot is also puncture resistant. The boots satisfy the following CSA requirements: composite toe, Omega rated outsole and non-metallic PR plate.
