Explosion-proof extension cord

Larson electronics has released a heavy duty extension cord designed to provide a secure connection of explosion proof equipment in hazardous locations. The cord is designed to extend the reach of equipment in hazardous locations where power receptacles are not in close proximity to the workspace. The cord is 100 feet in length and fitted with five explosion proof twist lock receptacles. The explosion proof cord receptacles are constructed with non-sparking aluminum on one end for connection of equipment and a 20 amp explosion proof plug. The cord can be customized to work on either 120 volts AC or 250 volts AC. The cord is chemical, oil and abrasion resistant. It is perfect for connecting explosion proof lighting, fans and blowers, as well as extending the range of portable power supplies and substations within a hazardous work area. This extension cord is Class 1 Division 1 Groups C and D and Class 2 Division 1 Groups E, F, and G rated, making it ideal for use in hazardous locations where flammable gases and vapors are present.
