Browguard

Allegro has unveiled the polycarbonate Browguard face protector. The lightweight lenses provide full face and eye protection against spatters, small particles and non-hazardous liquids. Browguard is made for most work applications, including grinding, cutting, brazing and machining. The sleek wrap-around design can also be worn comfortably with impact resistant safety glasses. Any worker can feel confident performing a job where particles could fly or a grinding wheel could break, says the manufacturer. The lenses do not turn yellow over time and can be easily connected to a hard hat with functionality that allows for convenient flip-up movement when the lens is not in use. The polycarbonate lenses are available in clear, dark green, IR3 and IR5. The Browguard meets ANSI Z87.1.
