Company says tool offers precise cuts without deformation
Xuron Corp. has introduced the Xuron® Model 2193 Hard Wire Cutter, a specialized tool designed to deliver flat, deformation-free cuts for a range of hard wires. Unlike standard compression cutters that squeeze and distort wires, this tool employs by-pass cutting, ensuring clean, flat ends on both sides of the cut.
Engineered for efficiency and user comfort, the cutter features a fully leveraged head and ergonomic handle design to reduce hand strain while optimizing cutting performance. It is capable of handling hard wires up to 0.040” in diameter, including materials like carbon fiber rods, memory wire, music wire, nichrome, piano wire, throttle cables, and more.
Constructed from high-carbon steel with a glare-reducing black finish, the tool includes cushioned Xuro-Rubber™ grips and a return spring for added ease of use.
