Advanced UV-C air purification system to boost indoor air quality
Fellowes has launched the Fellowes® Array™ Recess AR1 UV-C, a cutting-edge air purification unit employing Ultraviolet-C light to eliminate airborne pathogens in sensitive environments like healthcare and educational facilities. Arti Lyde, Global General Manager of Air Quality Management, emphasized the unit’s innovative design, which ensures effective use of UV-C technology by allowing extended exposure time to inactivate viruses and bacteria.
The AR1 UV-C features a high-reflectivity chamber and shielded all-metal construction for safe use around people, achieving a first pass kill rate of 98.1% for airborne allergens and pathogens. Easy to maintain, the unit integrates seamlessly into existing ceiling grids, supports remote monitoring via the Array Viewpoint dashboard, and requires minimal upkeep with a long-lasting 9,000-hour bulb.
This new addition to the Fellowes air quality lineup offers facilities a robust solution for maintaining a healthy indoor environment without extensive installation or maintenance demands.
