New transfer switches designed for commercial environments
Russelectric, a Siemens business, has announced the launch of its RTSCD-SE Commercial Duty Service Entrance Transfer Switches. Designed for commercial environments such as educational campuses and industrial facilities, these switches combine automatic power switching with essential service entrance features like disconnecting, grounding, and bonding.
The RTSCD-SE switches are available in 2, 3, and 4 pole models, boasting rapid and reliable arc quenching and a user-friendly interface with a historical event log. They adhere to key safety and construction standards, including UL1008 up to 480 VAC, NFPA 110, and NEC Articles 700, 701, 702. Optional accessories like a power monitoring package and manual operation controls are also available, enhancing functionality and customization.
