Ontario Ministry of Labour investigating incident

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development of Ontario is investigating the industrial accident that led to the death of one worker in the province last week.
The incident happened near Highway 27 and Belfield Expressway in Etobicoke at around 10:15 pm on Thursday, according to the Toronto Police Service.
A male worker was seriously injured while inside an industrial machine, according to the police.
Fire crews said they arrived to find the man trapped in the machinery. Crews isolated power to stop the machinery from continuing to move and then attempted to extricate him, according to CBC.
At past 11:00 pm, Toronto Police noted that the worker had been declared dead at the scene. Paramedics also attended that scene, according to Toronto Star.
Officials did not release the identity of the victim and what exact time of machinery was involved in the accident.
The police informed the ministry of the accident.
"The ministry expresses its condolences to the family and colleagues of the worker," a ministry spokesperson said, according to the CBC report.
