Work stopped at the platform, no one was injured
One incident caused a work stoppage at a nuclear power station in Ontario on Friday, according to a report.
A crane that made contact with a work platform at the Bruce Power worksite.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident, reported the Daily Commercial News, citing a statement from Bruce Power.
“Our team demonstrated the right behaviours and immediately stopped work and placed all equipment in a safe state,” a release stated, according to the report.
The employer has established a team to investigate further and to “fully understand the cause of this event and put actions into place to ensure it doesn’t occur again.”
