Nova Scotia's Labour Department investigating the workplace incident
The worker was taken to hospital with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries, said the police.
No further details about the incident were made available to the media, according to CBC.
"These details are part of the ongoing investigation, we cannot share further details at this time," a spokesperson said, according to the report.
