Company says tools designed for safer servicing of high-voltage electric vehicle battery systems
Cementex has launched new insulated Battery Openers and a Battery Seal Breaker, designed for safer servicing of high-voltage electric vehicle (EV) battery systems.
Engineered with double insulation and compliant with IEC, ASTM, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and CSA Z462 standards, the tools provide controlled access to battery compartments and components. Features include multiple blade sizes, a valve shroud remover, and a pull-cable design with interchangeable blades.
Made in the U.S.A., the tools are rated for live use up to 1,000 VAC / 1,500 VDC.
