Cementex, specialists in safety tools, has announced the launch of the MRT-18-LED, a rechargeable LED light magnetic retrieving tool. This tool enhances electrical safety by illuminating the location of lost screws, nuts, or tools that may have fallen inside a panel, eliminating the need for professionals to hold a light on their heads, in their mouths, or in their hands.
The MRT-18-LED features an 18-inch flexible shaft with a strong magnetized tip and a rechargeable LED light at the tip. It is rated for use at 1000VAC/1500VDC, making it suitable for a wide range of projects that require enhanced safety measures.
The LED light offers a balanced beam with a 5-sided glowing CSP LED that twists on and off easily. It provides various brightness levels to meet specific project needs, with a maximum output of 150 lumens for 15 minutes before falling to 50% charge, and a minimum output of 5 lumens for 6 hours before dropping to 50% charge. The insulation cap and magnet tip are removable, allowing a full recharge in 75 minutes via a micro-USB charger port.
