Several products hit the market in 2019
It was a busy year at Cordova Safety Products in 2019, culminating in the launch of the three, brand-new cut-resistant gloves in the company’s OGRE collection. The new Cordova-CRX high-performance hand protection is designed for those down and dirty jobs that require cut protection, gripping power and impact protection.
All models feature Cordova CRX fibre, a polyethylene engineered fibre that provides increased levels of cut resistance and comfort without adding glass or steel fibre. They also feature, ultrasonic-welded thermoplastic rubber (TPR) protectors, instead of traditional sewn-on TPR.
In addition to these three new gloves, the company created a series of new activity gloves. These gloves offer fit, gripping power and durability for use in a variety of applications. All are equipped with touchscreen fingertips for accessibility in the field.
Also new in 2019 were two hi-viz Commander gloves offering A7 cut-resistance. The Cordova-brand Commander HV & Commander Impact gloves feature a 13-gauge, hi-viz yellow HPPE/glass/steel fibre shell with a red, sandy nitrile palm coating for added gripping power. The Commander Impact is also equipped with TPR back-of-hand protection.
