Russelectric, a Siemens business, has announced its Advanced Microgrid Controls Solution, designed to optimize power management and improve resilience for critical sectors such as healthcare, data centers, and renewable energy. This cutting-edge system integrates hardware and software, enabling facilities to reduce energy costs, minimize carbon footprints, and maintain operations during power outages.
The modular and scalable solution leverages Russelectric's expertise in transfer switches, switchgear, and power controllers to connect and optimize distributed energy resources (DER) such as generators, battery backups, and photovoltaic arrays. The system’s capabilities include dynamic islanding, automatic generator black starts, and seamless grid resynchronization, ensuring uninterrupted power quality.
With over 50 years of microgrid control experience, Russelectric provides end-to-end project support, including engineering, testing, and commissioning. Backed by a two-year warranty, the solution is available as part of turnkey options or through Energy-as-a-Service agreements.
